Certain areas and venues are popular with expats and tourists such as Boat Quay and Clarke Quay where warehouses converted into noisy bars and restaurants overlooking the river.

Craving for some sweet desserts after a late dinner? Located at Holland Village where the vibrant nightlife is with the ritzy wine bars, having a dessert at 2am dessert bar will certainly be a nice place to chill out. The highlight of the menu is nonetheless the desserts themselves. One interesting discovery - they serve wine to go along with your desserts which supposedly helps to enhance the taste of your sweet confections.

The pleasantly unpretentious rooftop bar Loof is another evening hot spot. A must-go on the Singapore night-out circuit, Loof is perched at the top of the Odeon Tower and is packed with expats come nightfall. It is the perfect place to get a breath of fresh air and the night view is simply spectacular. While you soak in the night ambience, enjoy the view of Raffles Hotel surrounded by lit-up skyscrapers just opposite.

Nestled in the French colonial convent Chijmes, Insomnia in Singapore is one of the best places to dine and wine. It is a favorite hangout for the tourists visiting the heritage complex of Chijmes. As the name suggests, this place stays open pretty late. Insomnia offers mixed culinary flavors of Asian and international pallets. It exudes a perfect ambience in an open air setting. One of the unique specialties of the bar is its live bands and musical performances. The bands generally play music from 70's, 80's and 90's. For a great party and live music Insomnia in Singapore should not be missed!

The long bar is famous for our Singapore sling. The earthy décor of the bar was inspired by Malayan plantations of the 1920s. The bar serves almost every alcoholic and non-alcoholic concoction imaginable. In addition, the bar also serves traditional pub favorites as meals or snacks. In the evening, a band performs a selection of contemporary and popular hits.
